So Tuesday is the big day for the US and much of the World as we will find out who will be the next Supremo of the free world. Frankly, at this point, I don't give a jot. I am so sick of the pair of them and the stupidity that gets called politics in the US and wait for the relative silence after the election when we can all return to reading real news about real people.
US elections have no substance. It's all nonsense spouted by each parties PR machine and in response to the gajllion polls that get issued on an hourly basis. Who the hell cares? What I want to know is what do you intend to do if elected not what your preacher said last week, who you hung with when a young kid or whether you inhaled while smoking weed at college.
The world is coming apart at the seams as banks fail or nearly fail and the ripple has yet to finish moving. All we can be sure of when all is done and dusted the rich will be even richer and the rest of us will be deep in doodoo......
McCain and Obama in a dead heat and Obama seems to have lost his tongue or maybe the DNC have decided it's their way or the highway. To me, it looks like politics as usual from both parties throwing insults and accusations at each other - what happened to Obama's freshness and do 'it doesn't have to be like this' attitude?
I can't believe that the US will elect McCain and Co. I mean he is older than God and has a far worse memory. But he represents the status quo, the reason why the US is deep in doo doo right now and all you can surely expect is more of the same?
Hilary Clinton now claims the popular vote and has told us that votes don't count until cast - which means she is going all of the way to the Democratic convention in the hope that Sen. Obama makes some blunder between now and then. But hang on. Who would elect a woman who seemingly can't count? And who makes up and changes the rules as she goes? This woman has an ego the size of Everest and believes it is SHE who is important (and her alone) in this election.
Come on Hilary - we know that you love Nazi created PR tactics (If you say something loud enough and often enough people believe it) but we too can count.... and Obama leads in the popular vote....
Does Hilary Clinton remind anyone else of that damn Energizer Bunny? according to the Energizer Bunny's personal website, it's mantra is ''keep going'. It seems that Hilary's is also 'keep going' - whatever the cost - and so far its several million Dollars of her personal fortune. It's one thing to 'keep going' but it is another to recognize when it's time to quit.
CNN's reporter asks if Mrs. Clinton is deluded? That's a good question and one worthy of consideration. If it can be shown that she is indeed 'deluded' then she disqualifies herself to be President - after all, who wants a deluded President (Oh wait - we have one already). None the less, Mrs. Clinton's ability to delude herself would be a troublesome personal characteristic for a President.
The fact that she is still in the race shows that the only thing she really cares about is herself. This isn't about who is best qualified anymore but about her ego. Now, she states that she has the bigger share of the popular vote! This is delusion - pure and simple - she stands condemned by her own words and actions. She counts Florida and Michigan in this assertion - states in which Clinton was the only name on the ballot. States who's primaries don't count, never counted and the candidates all agreed would not count. Changing the rules after the event is a Clinton trait. Say something loud enough and often enough and it becomes the truth is the Clinton ideology. Strange - that policy was actually invented by Hitler and the Nazi's in Germany. I guess it worked there so why not in the USA?
Is it me or is CNN biased for Hilary "I mis-spoke" Clinton? Last night they covered her going on and on and on (and on and on and on) about Iraq. The other night they gave Obama a few seconds talking about MLK and then we got to watch Clinton go on and on and on (and on and on...) about how upset she was the day MLK was shot....
It just seems to me that CNN give this lady way too much air time as compared to Obama. But, maybe I have it wrong. Maybe CNN is biased to Obama and is simply letting us all see what a wind bag Clinton is as she drones and drones and drones....and mis-speaks.
I heard her talking about withdrawing troops from Iraq and for a minute I thought she was saying she'd withdraw from the race... Wishful thinking that her giant ego would ever consider such a thing. And is her voice more boring to listen to than Bill (I did not have sex with that woman) Clinton or what?
And while I'm on the topic, no wonder they didn't want to release their tax return. My goodness did they make some money. How can anyone making minimum wage or even $100,000 a year believe that two rich kids who appear to be unable to speak the truth at any point in time could truly have any interest in their welfare? The Clintons are about one thing and one thing only - The Clintons (on and in Bill's case - Women).
Rant-here.com is very proud to be able to bring you some secretly taken recent photos of President George W Bush and his senior Republican party officials as they plot the future war in Iran and how to extracate themselves from the mess in Iraq and Afganistan.
Remember, this is a Rant-here exclusive and you saw them here first....
Shhhhhhh.....

Dear Mrs. Clinton,
Thanks for your application for the job of President of the United States. Your application was considered most carefully but in the end rejected in favor of a younger, more qualified candidate whose ideas are solid and original and who has demonstrated a consistent quality to rise above the petty details and focus on solutions to the bigger problems.
Your application demonstrates that your ambition for power and your insatiable ego make you, in the final, a poor candidate for the job. The successful candidate has called for fundamental changes in approach to the job. You, I fear, have continued to demonstrate a blind ignorance of this fact and continue to operate in the old way that we now seek to get away from. Your resume is over inflated and your claims of job experience appear weak - besides they are experiences of the old way of doing things.
