What happened to the concept of a role model? These days our supposed role models smoke weed, use cocaine, make movies of themselves having sex, get out of cars in short skirts and no knickers, and generally make right asses of themselves. I read yesterday of a homophobic pastor in the US being accused of homosexual advances on young men in his 'flock'. Innocent until proven guilty I guess but they appear to be lining up in droves to sue this guy....

Nope. The role model is dead. These days the rich and famous behave like perverts and lemmings follow suite.

Who would have thought, for example, that Mel Gibson would turn out to be such a prat? or that some plain Jane idiot like Lady Ga Ga Blah Blah would become such a celebrity and appear in photos naked except for raw meat covering strategic places?

Guess I give up. The world gets stranger everyday....
