I'll put it out there. I'm glad I found this website. I want to rant without being judge by my friends.

I'm fairly young, still in college. Well since I was a senior in high school. I've had a friend get married and have a kid. I’ve had one get engaged. * I think she's pregnant too* Another get engaged and just the other day the youngest *who is in H.S.* of our group announces she Prego too.

Is there something in the water or am I the only sensible girl left?
Seriously?! Since these girl met me we've talked about going to college and living life.

Do they realize what they're doing? Grrrr! Marriage is fine. I have no problem with that. But 90% of high school sweethearts end in divorce! What happened to new age woman? Getting a career, starting a business, taking care of themselves before a man or child?

At 17-25 you're still growing and becoming yourself. If you marry someone at 18 or 19 you're still only part of you. Many adults tell me between 18 -25 you change and become a whole different person.

Now figuring that, what if the person you change into isn't someone your spouse likes? Divorce right? But why must so many marriages end like that? Yes, I believe that if it can be avoided divorce should not happen.

That's probably why divorce rate is so high stupid kids making stupid mistake. Acting before thinking. Divorce hurts everyone involved.

The kids,...okay I understand mistake happens. But hello!!!!! Condoms are fairly cheap!*if you know where to go* If you can't afford a condom then you can't afford a kid.

At 17-20 you're just becoming a adult you're too immature to raise a kid. I really just want to slap some of these girls. I don't know what they're thinking.

I know plenty of women have kids, go to college and have successful careers. Am I behind on the times? Thinking 80's and 90's where woman wanted to be more then a pretty face and good mom. Or am I being too condemning?
