Yes - a popular topic on the internet these days..it won't be long before people who can't sleep will be watching advertorials about it on TV. I recently found an article by one blogger in which he publishes his P/L for the month and made a cool $20,000.

Not bad. If you do a google search you'll find no end of tips on how to make money blogging and give up that boring day job.

So, I thought I'd post my version today. How I make money blogging.

Two or more years ago I started a blog. It will remain nameless for now since it was definitley about a very obscure topic (tip number one - find something interesting to blog about). Actually, blogged before there was such a thing as blogs by creating an online diary and using HTML as I went (tip two - educate yourself on blogging tools). I added my Google ads (Tip three - find other ways to make money cos Google doesn't - at least not for you!). I sat back and waited for all those visitors to come and click on my ads (Tip Four - Add content regularly).

Two years later, I am proud to say I have so far made $3.42. Yep - only problem is I have to wait until the total hits $100 for Google to pay me. I am amazed - I can now afford nearly a beer after two years of blogging! (Final Tip - Keep the day job!)

So lets revisit the tips shall we?

1. Find something other people find interesting to blog about;
2. Educate yourself on blogging tools;
3. Find other ways to make money cos Google isn't it;
4. Don't forget to add content!
5. MOST IMPORTANT - Keep your day job.
