It's hard to browse the internet and not read all of the conspiracy theories out there but I for one am beginning to wonder.... the evidence that 911 was an inside job continues to accumulate and I somehow believe that the current financial crisis is somewhat convenient too.

I always believed the official 911 story but now I become more and more inclined to believe that someone somewhere is manipulating us all. Some group of people (or aliens?) with tremendous power are pushing us towards a goal of a unified global status. Well - that's the theory isn't it? The problem with such conspiracy theories is that at some level they make sense. 911 allows governments to limit our personal freedoms to the point where US passports can be tracked in real time and some States will soon issue driving licenses that can also be tracked electronically. We put up with increased inconvenience and government intervention in our daily lives to avoid the veiled threat of terrorism. Now, we will gladly seek new financial controls, regulations and currencies to avoid yet another financial meltdown. The meeting in November in Washington of the G20 is the start of that new world order in financial markets....
