Hull On The Brink

Hull City beat Watford 4-1 last night (6-1 agg) to move through to the Championship playoff final at Wembley. In previous articles on Hull City, I have done more than enough to explain the significance for me and thousands of other folks from Hull regarding this event. But let's re-iterate...

Hull's best finish in 104 years, Hull's first ever appearance at Wembley and, if we can get past Bristol City, the potential for Hull's first ever season in topflight English football. I'm pumped and I believe.

What is so compelling about this story is that players like Nick Barmby (34), an ex-England International, and Dean Windass (39)are reaching the end of their careers but both are from Hull and both scoring goals to keep Hull in the hunt. Both will play at Wembley for their home town side... pretty amazing.

I dream, I wish and I hope.... Hull City AFC in the Premier League... wouldn't that be sweet!
