I have been posting to Rant Here for 3 years and it is full of funny and controversial content and yet.... it only gets around 80 visitors a day. I look at other sites getting 2000-3000 visitors a day and frankly I can't figure out why. So help me out. Why does some crappy site full of stupid dozy animal pictures get thousands of readers and this site - full of GREAT CONTENT, get low traffic.....?????

Periodically, I have a real go at promoting the site. You know, posting links and shit but it doesn't seem to do much good. Frankly, I have come to the conclusion that all YOU really want on the internet is a lot more of this....

Not that there is anything wrong with THAT of course.... a bit of eye candy never hurt anyone... but don't you want to have a laugh too? Laughing is as much of a stress relief as sex - laughing while having sex may be better but probably wouldn't impress the girl....

So come on - spread the word for me... email your buddies, post some links for me to your social networks, email some funny stuff to me by submitting an article here, comment a bit on my stuff - help me figure out what works and what doesn't.... Drop me a rant if you want. Tell me the site is shit and I have no sense of humor is you want... whatever works.

See, I'm a greedy bugger and I want more traffic to the site so I can get people clicking on the ads, buying books from my amazon store and generally throwing their mouse around. That way, I can quit my BORING day job, sit on the beach, watch the eye candy and post silly and funny stuff here all day long.......
