Recently, we were told that lipstick use is responsible for an increase in Average breast size amongst British Women and now apparently new research shows that high heels help improve a woman's sex life. And where does this news originate? Well, Italy of course. An Italian Urologist set out to research the effects of high heels and came to the conclusion that high heels improve the pelvic muscles and therefore assist in sexual performance. She also adores her high heels apparently.

Now in the past high heels have been blamed for all sorts of posture and foot problems and have generally been frowned upon by health advocates. Men like them, women tolerate them and, as a result, high heels continue to be fashionable of course. But this news is very positive for the Italian shoe industry and I am now looking forward to seeing high heels being sold with a 'good for your sex life' tag. So what's next in the world of research? Will we discover that drinking beer is good for semen production or that rubber condoms have the beneficial side effect of being an aphrodisiac? The mind boggles. Of course, we might also find out that traveling by air naked also has a beneficial health impact.
