Sex sells. We all know that. But I was simply amazed this morning to find a story at the ABC website on American Christian evangelists and how they have discovered that sex helps them build bigger communities (and undoubtedly - larger incomes!. The article highlights how many evangelical preachers are now preaching that sex is fun and should be fun and not something performed at 8pm monthly on a Wednesday evening in the missionary position.

But what truly amazed me was a website that the article mentioned run by two preachers called TheMarriageBed.com. I visited the site and discovered that masturbation isn't a sin, What to do with a vibrator, read about female ejaculation and anal sex and much much more! This site truly is, as the ABC article says, filled with more sex advice than Penthouse! I am amazed....

I mean this site has more than enough information on every possible sexual variation.

Being cynical, there is also a shop and links to other sites that cater for christian couples. These links are even more interesting being in essence christian sex shop sites... and what makes a sex shop christian? Why no nudity on the site of course!! huh?

It seems that evangelicals have discovered sex. Again, being cynical, they have discovered that if you can't beat them then join them right!? If you want to attract several hundred folks a week these days to church a good bible basher must minister on a the G-Spot, Anal sex and Masturbation it seems?

On the other hand, credit where credit is due. At least these Christians won't spend their lives feeling miserable about their desires and sexual needs....
