I saw Duran Duran on TV the other week. Wow has Simon Le Bon aged. There he was doing a poor job of lip synching still dressed like he was 21 but his clothes were just a little tight you know so that his neck and face appeared to bulge out from his body. I really wish pop stars would simply age gracefully like the rest of us because Le Bon looked - well stupid and pretty awful. He has put on weight in the face and he really does look like a 50-year old guy trying to be 21 again - yuk.

On that same topic, Boy George is in trouble again. Not for Cocaine but for allegedly chaining up a male prostitute that he had visit his house last April. You can find that story here. Reason I bring it up is because he too appears to have become rather hefty to say the least. He has a pudgy face made worse by a shaven head - George, you are no Boy anymore... Old Man George looks to facing some serious charges...

Finally, has anyone seen Robert Smith of the Cure recently? White make up, black eyes, hair gelled outwards and upwards and a big fat pudgy middle aged face.... Come on Robert, who are you kidding? You look like a joke and it is embarrassing... it is time to act your age mate.

All these fading pop stars look the worse for wear after a couple of decades of excess. They all have fat pudgy faces these days. I don't know why they can't do a David Bowie - now there is a pop star who graces his age with true style and charisma.

I guess I can't resist having a knock at the Rolling Stones. These rocking Grandads look as if the have actually been dead this last twenty years don't they....

I wonder if these people really do do a deal with the Devil?
