Once upon a time trade shows of almost any kind were littered with semi-naked women draped seductively over cars, trucks, bikes or whatever it was that was being sold. Yes - Sex sells and the Booth Babe dominated at trade shows. These days or some reason the Booth Babes appear to have gone away. More and more trade shows now ban the Booth Babe and trade shows are arguably more boring for it.

OK. Booth Babes are sexist. But in these days of instant titillation on the Internet, the TV and elsewhere it seems to me as if there is double standard developing. I mean, just look around you. It seems that pornography is more and more acceptable. Nude scenes on TV and in movies hardly make anyone bat an eyelid - moral standards are falling more quickly than a stone. And yet, the Booth Babe is going the way of the air stewardess.... into extinction!

Why is that?

Anyway, in memory of their days of former glory, here is what we are now all missing....and for all you body paint freaks the second pic is body art too....
